SURAJKUND 2018: Where Crafts and Culture Meet!!
It’s time for everyone to get revealed to the culture of Uttar Pradesh, a place Surajkund in New Delhi, is having a festival that is celebrated on yearly basis with the different themes and this time UP is the theme for them. Here you’ll be exploring the various performances from different states of India and a foreign trade from the 20 countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, Uzbekistan, Thailand and many more. The Surajkund Mela is unique as it showcases the richness and diversity of the handicrafts, handlooms and cultural fabric of India, & is the largest crafts fair in the world.
It is a joint venture of the Haryana Tourism and Surajkund Craft Mela Authority. If your are willing to plan a visit to Surajkund Mela 2018, it is open to visitors from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. If you own your vehicle it’s the best to travel to the place as the Surajkund place is not accessible to the local transport and the cab do charge high because you are not the only one to get the cab as there are million of visitors over there on a daily basis. As well as if you made the booking of the cab from the Surajkund till your desired destination then you’ll definitely have to wait 25 minutes till the cab reaches you.
The ticket price on weekdays is Rs 120 per person and for weekends it's Rs 180 per person.
